    William Butler Yeats

I had to catalogue a book the other day on W. B. Yeats. I discovered something the entire pagan community probably knows - that Mr Yeats was a member of the Golden Dawn and was in discussion with Madame Blavatsky. I was supposed to be cataloguing but I spent a good ten minutes reading the book. I never knew he had occult interests. I never knew that he believed he chanelled his complete opposite as a spirit and wrote letters/responses from him. I was completely amazed! I've now gone on this huge Yeats information gathering session. I found his serial 'Samhain' and had a look at some of the plays in there. I've also borrowed a few books on him. I'm thinking of writing a paper and submitting it to the local pagan magazine as an article (as if i'm not already busy enough). It has probably been done many times before but I really want to do this. I really want to find out more about this fellow. I almost feel cheated that I only just discovered him.

I just made a couple of new friends in the pagan world. We're meeting weekly and just chatting about everything from Paganism to what movies we like. I'm really enjoying it. Something surprising has happened from it though. Ever since I've met them it has woken up something inside of me. I've started seeing faeries again and the beginnings of auroras. I've never seen aurors before but I am most definitely seeing their outlines and am seeing (faintly) yellowy/red/green colours. It's a little strange. I think I also saw the third ghost in my life. They're always wherever I live.

When I was little we lived in a house that is (would now be) 120 years old, there were 6 of us - Mum, Dad, my two sisters and my little brother. Anyhow, one day my sister and I were playing in our bedroom. We kept seeing (what we thought was our sister) a little girl running down the corridor, always in the same direction. She started to really annoy us so we went to Mum and asked her to tell Caroline off for doing it. Mum said 'but Caroline has been sitting here the whole time.' So my first ghost. A little blonde girl. We saw her often and we weren't the only ones that saw her. Mum, Caroline, my older half brother David and some people who lived in the cottage for 4 weeks after we moved out.

The second ghost was when I was living in a residential college. I was in my bedroom and this person walked past my window. They looked like a hazy siloutte now that I think about it. He was a really tall man though. Weird things would happen in that college - like people knocking on 3rd floor windows (and a moat was below - there was noway a person could do that). Sometimes it sounded like there was a person on the roof draging a suitcase. Maybe the same? There were rumours that a person had taken a life in one of the rooms that was now the telephone cable room.

The third ghost. I just saw it two nights ago out of the corner of my eye. It walked past our loungeroom door. I have no idea if it was male or female - I'm sure I'll see it again if it is anything like my past. Whoever it was was wearing a white tshirt. I haven't told my partner, although he wouldn't believe me because he doesn't believe in things like that (as far as I'm aware). So yer. Strange things happening.

    Hello,
I'm a 24 year old woman and live in Tasmania, Australia. I only just found out about covenspace from a new email friend and am so glad that she told me about it. Well I hope to make new friends through this thing as I'm really wanting to meet new pagans. I guess I would classify my spiritual path as pagan, as I keep reassessing how I feel about things and continuously try to figure out and learn about how other people feel about the same issues.
    Thanks,
    Urania xxx
